Delete your StyleMatch GA account

StyleMatch GA users may request deletion of their Salon or Stylist account and associated personal data.

Delete your account inside StyleMatch GA

  1. Open StyleMatch GA and sign in.
  2. Open Profile.
  3. Select Account & Data.
  4. Select Delete account.
  5. Enter your password if requested.
  6. Review the deletion information and confirm your request.

After a successful account-deletion request, account access is disabled and personal information that is no longer required is deleted, anonymized, or de-identified as appropriate.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access StyleMatch GA, submit an account-deletion request using the official contact method displayed on the StyleMatch GA website. Use the email address associated with your StyleMatch GA account whenever possible, use the subject StyleMatch GA Account Deletion Request, include the email address associated with the account, and indicate whether the account is a Salon or Stylist account.

StyleMatch GA may take reasonable steps to verify account ownership before processing the request. You will not be required to reinstall StyleMatch GA solely to submit an account-deletion request.

Before your account can be deleted

Account deletion may not be completed while certain active marketplace commitments remain unresolved. For example, an active booking may need to be completed or cancelled before final account deletion.

Payment-provider records

Deleting a StyleMatch GA account does not prevent Stripe or another payment provider from retaining records it is independently required to maintain under applicable financial, regulatory, fraud-prevention, or legal requirements.

Information deleted or de-identified

Depending on the account and its activity, deletion may include removal or de-identification of name and contact information, public professional profile information, biography and professional preferences, profile and portfolio images, salon profile information, location information, payment handles such as Cash App or PayPal identifiers, push-notification tokens, account preferences and settings, private support content when retention is no longer necessary, and other personal information that is no longer required.

Pending applications may also be withdrawn as part of the deletion process.

Information that may be retained

StyleMatch GA may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for completed bookings, payment and transaction records, Stripe payment references, accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal obligations, reports and moderation, Reliability history, audit records, disputes or claims, and marketplace integrity. Where appropriate, retained information may be minimized, anonymized, or pseudonymized.

Payment-provider records

Mission payments, platform-fee payments, payouts, and Stripe Connect services may be processed by Stripe. Stripe may independently retain payment, financial, identity-verification, tax, fraud-prevention, or transaction information according to its own legal obligations and privacy practices. Deleting a StyleMatch GA account does not automatically delete records independently controlled by Stripe.
